Prada is considering selling shares so it can get rid of a 1.4 Billion debt. That's a whole lot of handbags! Damn! It should maybe look at what Mulberry are doing, they have just reported a 49% increase in sales. It's getting a little bit scary all this talk about debt. American Apparel, Prada and Betsey Johnson are just some of the brands talking down time. Scary times. As Ireland heads for another recession - right after the last one which we never recovered from in the first place. it's a little bit worrying. Although speaking of brands and sales increases : would love to know how much Penny's (primark) have increased their sales by since the recession(s) began! I would say it's quite a bit......
